John Bradley Announces Candidacy for Ward 6 Alderman

Today, John Bradley officially announced his candidacy for Ward 6 Alderman on the Hornell City Council. Bradley also ran for this office in 2023.
"My top priority will be listening to the residents of Ward 6 and bringing their concerns to the city council," said Bradley. "Hornell is a great place to live, but it can be even better. I pledge to collaborate with the mayor, city council members, and city employees to develop innovative solutions to the challenges facing our community. I hope to be a catalyst for positive change."
"Transparency and accountability are areas where city government can improve," continued Bradley. "I will propose that hearings and city council meetings be broadcast, that a citizen question and comment period be part of every council meeting, that the city publish a weekly email newsletter, and finally, that the city implement a unified customer service tracking system for all queries and responses."
A native of Florida, John and his husband, Michael, have owned a home in the 6th Ward for ten years. John is currently the chair of the Hornell Democratic Committee and the secretary of the Steuben County Democratic Committee. Professionally, John works as an instructional designer for an international company that specializes in teaching communication skills to business professionals.
